A little about the Origins... This is a group I, *Sarah-BK, couldn't help making. I've always wanted to have a collection of lovely photographs by others, however time does not permit me to look through all submissions to dA which I may like, and the fair exposure system does not always allow me to either. Hence, this group will be a win-win for both you and me. I will get more exposure to others' photographs of a select category which I mostly enjoy viewing, while you get them featured here for others to see and to get more feedback!  I do request submissions myself of course whenever I come across something striking ^^ If you want to follow the beautiful submissions, submit your own, or do both... feel free to join!  What it's all about! The group name, Soft Stills should speak for itself. Still Lifes and Macro photographs will be accepted here; if the photograph also has a conceptual factor to it, all the better! ^^ However, most importantly, they must have a soft touch to them - that means blurry backgrounds, bokeh and delicate focusing. The Rules  Photography only - no photomanipulation (i.e. two or more photos used in one deviation; post-processing in software such as PS is perfectly fine ^^) Must fit into the theme of this group - it must be a still life or macro shot (which can have a concept behind it), which is also soft, delicate and pleasing! Photos with human involvement or live plants and flowers will be declined. Submit to the correct folder!  1 deviation per day, which is subject to votes before approval. Choose from your very best! Please do not get offended or upset if your work is not accepted as what appeals to us does not apply to everyone   No elaborate watermarks - especially the deviantArt one. We wan't to admire the photo, not the dA symbol ^^ If your work was declined and you can't understand why or are curious as to why, feel free to ask for feedback! I will be more than pleased to reply ^^ Join group requests automatically accepted!Looking forward to all your lovely submissions!
